Tuesday we went to the Draper Temple open house. I have to admit I wasn't super excited about driving all the way down there and expecting quite a long night. The kids were great. After waiting in a church gym and then watching a movie we loaded a bus to the temple. Which the kids thought was great! The Temple is in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded with houses how great would that be to walk across the street and go in the Temple! It was so beautiful inside and the kids were so reverent and very interested in it. There was such a calm comforting spirit while we walked through. It was wonderful to be able to sit in the sealing room with our whole little family. After some cookies and looking at some art work we got in line to load the bus. While we were waiting Wyatt looked at Porter and said "Awwwww we didn't even get to see Jesus!" So cute we always say that it is Jesus' house so I guess he just expected him to be there and I am sure he was. I am so grateful that we went even though it was an exhausting thought. How grateful I am to have an eternal family.

Ha Ha..... kids say the cutest things. I was hoping to go see that temple last week, but my kids got sick. Hopefully I'll see it soon.
How sweet! What a great idea! Kids are so sweet and the way they think is so sweet and innocent! What a cool event to be able to do with your family!
Thats great! I love the simpleness of how kids think. I hope you write that one down.
I love the simpleness of a childs mind. He has such a sweet spirit as do all your kids. I love to be around them and feel their love. You guys have done such an amazing job and it shows. Love you all to the sun and back as Harlee would say!

Have you given up on blogging? I'm bored! And no one is blogging! My kids are still sick.... and Ava now has an ear infection and RSV too! Yes, I'm a little stir crazy with no adult conversation. Anyway, have a good night.
I too, am so grateful for an eternal family. I am glad you guys had fun. Love ya!!
I am so excited to go next week. I hope my kids cooperate, I've had those same feelings of fear that it could turn to a disaster. Everyone says it is such a neat experience. I'm excited for my kids to see the inside of a temple. Glad you guys had a great time.
