Easter Eggs

Easter came so quickly this year!! Friday night we dyed our eggs and the kids had lots of fun as usual.  We always celebrate Easter on Saturday with a easter egg and basket hunt.  It seems to work out beautifully and allows us to focus on the real meaning of Easter on Sunday.  It is so funny my kids have never even asked if the Easter Bunny brings them things, another conversation that we will not need to have.  Yeah!! I am a little late on getting pictures of Sunday on so hopefully soon.

St. Patty Day

So a great friend invited us over for dinner since Brian was out of town.  How cute and fun, she made little pots of gold for the kids out of limes and pineapple jello.  We have wonderful friends here.  Then we all went to the neighborhood easter egg hunt.  Which was fun but very crazy, there are a lot of kids in the area.  They had lots of fun although it would have been a lot nicer if we actually did not need to wear our winter coats.  Maybe next year!!  Thanks Jen!!

Metal Mouth

Brynleigh got her expanders in her mouth yesterday to prepare her for braces.  Remember when you were excited to get braces and then they were not so much fun!!  Thats how Bryn feels she was so excited now she wants them out.  And she called me from school today and has already pulled her wire out.  Oh what fun.  Back to the orthodontist. 

Feeling so grateful!!

      I am so grateful for my wonderful handsome husband.  We love him so much, and are so lucky to have him in our life.  It is so great to have his sense of humor around he always makes us laugh even if we feel like crying.  He always knows just what to say to turn a frown upside down!!  I  love him more each day.  I admire his ambition and how he always wants to improve himself and his relationships with others.  We miss him so much when he is out of town for work!!  What a caring husband and fun dad we have.  Love you more!!

Lunch with great friends!!

Yesterday I was able to go to lunch with some girlfriends from High School!! It was so much fun.  It was if we talked to each other every day.  Jen was up from Arizona and although Sarah only lives in Alpine we have scheduling problems!!  What great women they are and I am so lucky to be friends with them.  Thanks guys that was great!! ( I don't have a picture because I didn't bring my camera but check out Sarah's blog for one I am the one with my eyes closed)
