Lovin the laughing gas

In a perfect world my kids would floss and brush twice a day!! However we do live in reality. Here is our little man Wyatt aka Agusta Galoop( he loves loves loves chocolate.) We always tell him he is going to bleed chocolate!! Apparently the bugs in his mouth love the chocolate too. He was so funny at the dentist, this is his second time to get his cavities done. The laughing gas makes him act goofy. This time he told me he was really dizzy. He actually fell asleep while they were working on his teeth. What a good boy!!

A little behind the times

Our computer was broke for a week so I finally can post more pictures. Bryn had a fun birthday. She wanted to go to a spa with a few friends she had a blast. They put cucumbers on their eyes and gave them hand and feet massages. It was quite difficult keeping them quiet. Some of the girls ate the cucumbers off their faces. Ewwww that cannot be sanitary. We then went to Red Robin for lunch with some family. I hope she had a great day

Live for today, be happy

After watching conference yesterday some talks seemed to stick out to me this morning.  President Monson gave two wonderful talks.  He was talking about living for today and not planning so many tomorrows that you lose sight of today.  I find myself doing this quite a bit and getting more thinking than actually doing done.  There are so many things I would like to do but never seem to have the time to follow through, and now I am left wondering what I could have done with  all the time I have exhausted on those thoughts or preparations that never happen.  Reading one more story, playing a game of uno, or just talking with my kids.  It was also said that you will one day miss the finger prints on everything and the laundry piling up, which is is hard thing to think of sometimes.  As our children get older and I find time only with one child and sometimes by myself I wonder what to do, I guess I kind of find myself boring.  I always think how nice it would be to go to run errands alone and get many things accomplished and when that does happen I miss little voices to talk to and little hands grabbing things they want.  I am really going to work on being happy in the moment you are in as President Monson said.  To live each day being happy and fulfilled with what I am doing and where I am.  I am so grateful for conference to be enlightened and uplifted and to have a living Prophet to guide us in our Latter Day.

Happy Birthday to our Little Girl

My how time flies I can't understand how 9 years has gone by so fast. Brynleigh has always been such a wonderful daughter. She definitely came with her own personality!! She has always been such a smart girl (with a lot of attitude) She is such a big helper to her family. We are so blessed to have her. Ever since she was a little girl 18 months she knew all of the neighbors names, their dogs names and where they all lived. She will talk ANYONES ears off. She is a huge social bug!! We always have to ask her the to give us the condensed version of anything that she is telling us because it would go on forever not leaving a single detail out! We have no lack of drama with her in the house. She is a complete neat freak and loves to organize things. She loves to draw and do any kind of craft. She also loves to sing or hum their is not to often when you are around her that she is quiet. Brynleigh loves her family especially her dad. We love her so much and can't wait to see what the next nine years will bring! (oh that thought kind of gives me a belly ache time goes by so fast)
Happy Birthday Brynleigh J.

Smile

So since I am the one always taking pictures it is incredibly hard to get a cute family picture. It is quite a show of me running back and forth from the camera to be in the picture only to come back and find that someone was making a funny face, looking away,or pulling their pants up way too high with hands in their pockets!! The other night we tried really hard to get a picture up at snow basin it was getting dark fast!! Brian and I never have pictures of us together. We got one just as someone was honking from the road at us!! This is what we ended up with pretty slim pickings!
I forgot I had lip gloss and the lens cap in my pocket so my butt looks a little more plump than usual!!

My cute Hubby

No he is not flashing gang signs he was showing the kids how old he is!!
I know this is a week late but better late than never right!!! Brian turned 35 last week Happy Birthday!! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband father and best friend. He is always up for making us laugh and having fun! He is a great Dad and loves his kids so much. I love that he is always trying to strengthen all the relationships in his life. He doesnt let our marriage get boring and is always looking for ways for us to spend time together and as a family. He had taught me so much in our twelve years of marriage, how to be more spontaneous, that worrying about everything is not going to change the outcome and not to let people take advantage of me are just a few. I love him with all my heart and can't imagine where I would be had I not met him.
I get excited thinking of what the future will bring, I never thought that after being married this long I could still get giddy around him but I do. I am so grateful for all he has done and sacrificed for our family. I am so proud of the man he has become despite bumps along the road. Happy Birthday Bri we love you so much!!

Which one of these things looks like the other!!

So we were at dinner messing around, who do you think Wyatt looks like Brian or Alicia? He is the only one that people tell us differently about half think he looks like me the other half Brian!  I think he looks like Brian.

Lovin the Beach!!

We just got back from a great trip to Carlsbad California! My Parents and Chaise met us there and we had lots of fun hanging out and relaxing. Of course it would not be a Kinne Family vacation without a accident to report!! This is becoming quite a trend one that I would like to see come to an end now!! We spent most of our days playing at the beach then headed up to the pool to swim and to get all the sand out of every nook and cranny!! Went to In and Out burger a couple of times Yummy. The kids were able to see lots of fun animals in the tide pools! Which unknown to us you were not supposed to touch or pick them up OOOPs. The tide pool education girl came to teach the kids about the animals as Porter has a snail and 2 clams in his hands. When she told him "lets go put those back where you found them" he said "no I want to keep them" and he was serious he was mad he had to put them back.

We went to take some family pictures in Laguna at a Alysso creek, it is really pretty there and has lots of big rocks that jet out into the water. It was kind of chilly so the kids were not too happy to be taking pictures. We got a few, my Dad was nice enough to take some for us and we went to see where else we could go. There was a photographer there so I told Brian to go see where they were taking pics. Next thing I know I see Brian and Porter out here.....

and yell "no, no, no not a good idea" as any one seeing this would obviously see why!! Brian yelled back at me oh take a picture it is a good spot! Which I quickly did and told him to go back but not before seeing this.......

I know it looks as though Brian is saying " look a humongous wave coming straight for us isnt that nice" but instead he is telling Porter to look out in the water so I can take a picture!! Oh my, has my son and husband just been swept off into the ocean?!! I could not see anything after the huge wave landed on top of them there was a big rock in the way. Luckily here they come around the corner soaked to the bone!! If I were not sooooo furious I would of taken pictures!!! Brian's left arm was covered in blood which looked lovely on his white shirt. I wish I would have taken a picture of Brian's elbow it was nasty!! He landed on a rock because is was trying not to let go of Porter. The wave was so strong that it knocked him off of his feet and pulled Porter's shorts down. Thankfully Brian held on tight to Porter I could just imagine him being swept by the current back into the ocean. So after 2 hours in the ER that was conviently down the street Brian got glued back together and on our way. Boy we are never going to forget our vacations!!
Amazingly the blood came out of Brian's shirt!!

We had lots of fun!! It was fun to see Papa and Jo thanks for hanging out with us!!

First Day of School

Well it has finally arrived!! They were off to school nervous and excited. They seem to have had a good first day. Porter had school lunch and when he got home he said "mom I want home lunch tomorrow the kids all told me my food looked liked throw up" it was mac & cheese. So much for the school lunches we had when we were growing up. It was hard to leave Porter all day seems so long and he is still so little. No one had any hesitations about going back today so we will see!
